It would be interesting to compare it to something like this which is a collapsible wire frame filter holder that fits in a canvas pouch.  I just haven't found these anywhere but Asia.

I've seen that one before.. $24 plus shipping seems a little much for a coil of wire but I would love to have a week to play with it (and some SS wire)

My brother works for a Japanese company and he is talking with a couple of his coworkers about getting me one or more of these brewers. I've tried to navigate the website, but Google translate fails when the the pages switch to secure areas like the shopping cart.

One of his good friends is actually on vacation in Japan and I think he is going to try and bring some back with him when he returns to the states. One is going in my personal collection, but if I get any extra I'll offer them up here, probably as a traveling road show offering.

About an 1.25 deep, when folded, with the bottom drain portion projecting to 2."

With a #4.  I don't have #6s but it is advertised as accommodating #s 1-6.

I will wash it up and put it through its paces tomorrow. Another day without the Cremina <face with tear running down cheek>.  BPA free.  I am curious to see if silicone taste appears in cup.

All I have gotten out of this generous traveling roadshow offer is a peanut gallery (Howdy Doody days) comment of "how come you never win anything?"

Need 3 more players.

Excellent cup.  No silicone taste. More to follow at 10.

Had to get out the back door this morning.

Pro:
1.  Excellent cup.  No silicone off-flavor.
2.  Fits neatly on a 10-oz cup or a liter thermos like I used this morning.  Multiple applications.
3.  The paper filter fits neatly into the cone - well seated on the sides.  (Note:  I always fold the heavy seam back, both on the bottom and the heavier side).
4.  Drains very well; not too fast, not too slow.  Kept up with the pour and allowed some steep as well.
5.  Easy to use.
6.  Easy clean-up.
7.  Great "to-go" cone.  One slap and it collapses to 2" for suitcase or back-pack.  Ideal for "carrying-out camping," or Holiday Inn pourovers.

Con:
1.  Need two hands to move it as it is flexible.  (One hand to move a ceramic).
2.  Have to peek to see the level at which the coffee is in the receptacle (Beehouse has peek holes).

Two thumbs up.  A keeper.

I will run this until Monday, Aug 1, and then shut the list down.  We can then get the traveling show started.

Room for two more reviewers.  B|Java

Look at it this way.  ECC isn't in on this.  You stand a chance of winning <grins>.

Need two.
