Vendors Policy Updated 3/16
« on: November 14, 2014, 06:59:57 AM »
Edit new policies as of 3/14/16:

1. Forum profiles that are the name of your company and or a multiple account in order to market your company will be locked and/or deleted. Use common sense if your whole profile appears to be a marketing campaign it probably isn't appropriate to use our website and club to give you free advertising. If your first post is in this forum that usually isn't a good thing. You will be given the opportunity to do the right thing if it is an honest mistake.

2. No Posting links to discount codes for other websites. Do not post in a way that appears to drive people to other sites or for free ad space.

3. As always if you are a Vendor and are really interested in marketing to our group you need to contact the Admins to see if there is any opportunity to do so.

If you are a vendor What should you do:

1. Adjust your post so that it isn't a "free ad" on our site.

2. Delete your ad if you aren't comfortable with that.

I wanted to agree that most (if not all other) coffee forums either won't allow any posts of any commercial nature or else they might sell advertising space to vendors.

One of our intentions  starting the vendors forum was to create win win situations between us and vendors out there. That is the spirit we are looking for here vs. Become a free advertising spot for vendors to drive traffic to their websites. Our interest is allowing vendors audience to the club and sharing those win/win type opportunities in the coffee community at large presented directly or even exclusively to us here at GCBC.
