gas roaster or electric

I'm looking to buy a small 2to 3 pound roaster and have found one of each buckeye roaster or coffee crafter any suggestions thank you

I use the Artisan 6 from coffee crafter and can't say enough good about it.  It's easy to learn and can easily do double that amount of coffee as you grow into it.  It can roast down to 8 oz as well but you have to be alert doing such a small batch size as it's harder to control the heat due to the small mass.  By hard I don't mean it's a fire waiting to happen but on the contrary, you have to put a bit more heat to it because it is there and gone, so fast due to the small mass.

I'd get the gas Buckeye over the electric Buckeye; and the 6M for electric.

The Artisan 2.5 is a 220v roaster that roasts 1/2 to 3 lbs. Looks very interesting.
