I really like the siphons, just don't like the amount of time required.  I was pretty impressed with these demo models.  Only real drawback for me was size, but plans are on the table for a larger capacity.

Release date is July.  I think a roadshow will be required.

I researched the actual product, and it's available for international shipping, comes in different colors, and appears to be a few different sizes as well.  http://diguocoffee.com/en/project.asp?page=4

Will try calling enflavor tomorrow, since their webform doesn't work for me.

They had a video on it. Notice the extremely violent draw down.  :o
Wow. They used tea in it for the video...

Oh my.

Despite the disturbing blast of hot water inside glass which could break, that digital syphon is neat, with programmed timing and everything, cool.

I've left two messages and also submitted an email, no response.  I guess the only other way is to brute force a purchase from overseas.  This thing would be fantastic to have at work.

FINALLY :)  Talked with someone live!

Really nice guy.  He roasts his own coffee on a home-made bbq drum, too.  I invited him to visit GCBC.  They are making a presence at the NCA in New Orleans.

He said he tried a number of different brands before settling on this one; some used glue and fell apart during the process :o  This one will have heat adjustment, and he said it leaves very little water in the bottom bowl during brewing preventing too much dilution.

The product arrived, but has been stuck in customs and is expected to start shipping sometime in November.  Retail price will probably be about $150-160.  I told him about the roadshow, and would consider a wholesale price for it :)

So.. is it too early to start a roadshow?
