We must have similar boats. You won't regret it! For years I put up with those ridiculous "throw away" prices (I think it is mostly throwing away your money), now I know how to do it better. I just wish I had figured it out sooner.

It was great trying out all the goodies in the kit. I am now firmly hooked on brushes, razors, soaps and honing stones.

Beware that this can be a better and cheap alternative OR - it could be an expensive rabbit hole. I took the second route but the mindful use of the extra time shaving with nice scents and maintaining the razors has been very relaxing as well.

Don't worry Jim ... it's a piece of cake.

I have a tendency to let my mind wander. That's when an ouchiee happened.

First 2 months nada ... niente ... nothing. I let my mind wander for 2 or 3 seconds then it happened.

Just keep the shave foremost on your mind ... you'll do great!
