I had the same experience. I think the Lord Platinum Class blades are quite different than the Sharks.

I think I've learned enough with the den to pass it on.    Looks like Grinderz is next

Maybe they should put a warning on the package "Warning ... you will be subject to Shark bites"!

I learned I don't like sharks, or sharks disguised as clocks.  I did like the Speik Cream.  The razor was ok, but I like mine better.  The Arko stick was ok, but I'm still not sure how to get easily get it off the stick in to my bowl.

I've added a few blades (that I like) to the kit.

Great fun, thanks for letting me play.

I've been shaving with the Traveling Super Speed and wondered anybody had the same kind of Jekyll and Hyde experience with it that I have? For the most part it seems smooth and forgiving but I've been having a lot more weepers than normal with it... a couple every time so far. I was examining it this morning and noticed that the blade isn't sitting perfectly square in the razor and has a little more exposed blade on one side than the other.

The traveling den just got here. Possibly I'll try the Superspeed while its here. If so I'll post my experience with it.

What is left in the den?  Quick photo or list?

Superspeed razor, 2 Arko Shave sticks, partial tube of Trumpers Rose Cream, couple of Art of Shaving samples, a "pumpkin soap" sample, over a dozen different packages of blades, little bottles of bay rum, grey flannel, and sandalwood...thats it.  I'd take a picture but don't know how to post it.

I didn't send on the "sanitary napkins" that it came with when it came to me ("for the big weepers") as they wouldn't fit in the box.  ;D

I just had a nice shave with the Rose cream and a Lord blade. Didn't try the Super Speed basically because of the way it is weighted. The razors I have been using for years ( a Toggle and a Fatboy) are both heavily wighted in the head allowing the razor to do the work. The Super is balanced differently. Since I am not in the market for a  razor I didn't want to risk getting cut up with a tool that felt so radically different from the adjustables I know and love (me wimp)... ;D

The Lord gave an ok shave but is not as sharp as the Feathers, Kai, and Polsilvers I normally use.

What, no takers on the pumpkin soap sample?  I'm shocked!

Looks like we've run through those who've signed up.  Need to go out and nudge some other members down the wet shave rabbit hole.

Look out! Here comes yakster.

You need to try the gillette yellow sharp edge blades next.
