Look what I found at an estate sale. It reminds me of the leg lamp from A Christmas Story. Little gem underneath that hideous shade! :o

That's pretty awesome actually. Does it work or just decoration?

The lamp works (worked), already disassembled it and took lamp parts off though. Felt it cheapened such a fine work of artistry, function, and design. The grinding blades were taken out to fit lamp workings and there is a small hole drilled in the back.

So what will become of it?

It looks like someone did a crappy refurbish on it a while back (paint job). Debating on whether to get it professionally done or just leave it as is with lamp parts removed. I did see it may be possible to get the parts for it as well, but awful costly. Probably not worth it for functionality since it pulverizes the beans rather than grinds. Most likely it will just go up on my coffee bar when I get to building that, which will be soon since my finds are building up and need a place to put them. Anyone have any suggestions to refurb or not? Or value? I was estimating $300-$500???
