Vacuum pot with built in water heater
« on: December 12, 2010, 07:15:06 AM »
Someone was thinking when they put this together! It sure looks like the right idea. Has anyone seen / used that heating plate the pot comes with? http://en.item.rakuten.com/iget/4975058485313/

I do like that over the gas models as it takes the purchase of gas out of the equation.

Nice find!

I think it would be appropriate to send a Peace Corps worker to Japan and do all the scouting of coffee hardware and send us accurate translations, facilitate sales, do group buys, and give us an inside track at Hario.

Wouldn't that be the Piece Corps?

I would have thought it should be the Coffee Corps.

I liked my Black & Decker vac pot - nothing breakable and it made drinkable coffee.

I have my bodum electric vac pot.  Although everyone claims to have hated them, I have had nothing but good results out of it and wish I could find another for work.
