Walkure Karlsbad Porcelain Coffee Maker
« on: December 17, 2011, 01:14:43 PM »
My new Walkure Karlsbad Porcelain Coffee Maker is in the house. I picked this up on eBay the other day the seller had it listed as 1970's antique Bavarian china. Sounds fancy doesn't it. He shipped a tag with it that has directions and a copyright at the bottom with a date of 1970.  :) I will try it over the next few days and post a review here.

Better yet, bring it over to Pearland and we'll shoot some pics in its permanent home. What? Me jealous - never!

Jealousy never entered the picture ... you have RobertL's best interest in mind when you offer to store it into Tex's Hotel California Coffee Equipment storage.

All items will be permanently safe there.

At least if it's in my garage no one will have to worry about shipping damage.

No one will also ever have to worry about getting it shipped to their place either.

Brewed a pot in the Karlsbad this afternoon 45 grams of El Salvador El Carrizal 25oz of water total brew time 4:30. I was really surprised with this cup it was much cleaner than I expected. I used a grind setting of 28 on the Virtuoso there was some sediment in the bottom of the pot but I don't think it affected the cup. I allowed the pot to settle for a minute and poured two cups the amount of sediment that transferred to the cups was minimal. I took a couple of pictures of the filter.
