Heck, had I had it my way I would have replaced the heater first thing and been done with it.  All you crazy testy guys had to have me trying to prove myself wrong....

You all must know me well enough by now to know that I enjoyed every minute of the search for answers.  As Larry said, I now know that machine inside and out and can take it apart and put it back together again in my sleep.  I know much more about my multimeter and about ....just lots of things.

As a curious person, having things fail sometimes leads me to my greatest satisfactions....
