The medium and large have two fill lines, so the amount of coffee will differ depending on which line you use.  For me (medium), I use 34g for the top line, and 25g for the lower line.

I use a coarse grind, and steep for 4 minutes.

As Ray mentions, don't overfill.  I go right up to the line.  The one time I went over I had a bit of a mess.

When you get to the bottom of the pour, GC7, you will have an ounce remaining in the container.  Set it down, pump it twice, and pour again.  You will get more liquid.

Thanks to everyone. I am very much looking forward to my morning mug and playing around with this press.

I now have an espro tamper, two pitchers and a press pot.

:D good one but no these are all new in box purchases.
I do however need to ask her about a Gaggia for a Christmas present. I don't think she still has one but I need to do some background price checking.

I'm very pleased with this press after one large mug of Yemen Marqaha. This morning's cup was as rich, layered and complex a cup as I have coaxed from this bean. Not a hint of bitter over-extraction.

I used 32 gm. coffee for 16 oz. of water (205* on my Pino kettle whatever temp that really might be). Preheat the press, grind between press and clever dripper, and step for 3 1/2 minutes.

Cleanup was far easier than I expected. Another good recommendation from the club!

The large Espro has been out of the rotation as of late.
Weekends are now taken by the Bodum Vac Pot, weekdays/workdays are a
single cup from the Aeropress.

But the large Espro goes back into rotation next weekend.  Thanks to all
for the reminding me about this great brewer.
