Yeah ... or pork and beans.  You won't need wood after that though.

This is perfect for any zombie apocalypse.  After a long night of slaying the undead, you could be assured of a good cup of fresh-roasted coffee.

Wonder how much desiccant they put in each can? Those beans might be petrified by the time you open the can. :o

I can see the survivalists in Idaho & Oregon buying this stuff by the truckloads. First they blow the bridges, and next they roast their canned coffee so they can stay awake to man the barricades.

There is.  For this purpose, I would wonder about flushing the can with nitrogen before canning.  Nitrogen is commonly used for this purpose, and I would think it would work better than dessicants and oxygen absorbers.

This is perfect for any zombie apocalypse.  After a long night of slaying the undead, you could be assured of a good cup of fresh-roasted coffee.

Brilliant.

As the sun rises (and scares away the other zombies) you could use the can's lid to signal the other zombie hunters over to your place for a cup of freshly brewed can coffee. Later, the empty cans could be filled with coffee grinds, a gelatinizing agent and gasoline, and used as an anti-zombie napalm device.
