Do you have a source for that Robert ... or will Mrs. Tex get it as a surprise for you?

I think I saw Santa's helper putting this 22-ounce Beehouse ceramic setup in the Wisconsin sled for Wisconsin:

That looks neat!  I hope Santa navigates his sled down my way.

~~~Nothing really.  I have an hx machine that pulls beautiful shots, a grinder that gets the job done and then some...decent stash of green beans, roaster that works very well (Hot Top B)
Okay, well maybe there is something on my Christmas list, like...an 09' IMV=:-)
I know they SAY they're made of food-grade silicone, but? I'd probably stick with the s/s cups & saucers sold by Sweet Maria's.
Yes.  The ss is far more likely to stand up well to the pressure.
Yeah ... they always seem to find something bad that plastics have after the fact.
Nice looking shot Jake!
 ;)
~~~Thanks!, I made two cups, one is for you=:-)

I even made a doppio for Tex, but he said he only eats Biscotti with his espresso, and not oatmeal cookies=:-)

FWIW, the espresso in these cups is Thom's (sweetmarias) Ethiopia Grade 3 DP.  Just got here a week ago so I roasted some up in the Hot Top.  At the same time as the roast was ready to sample, I just whipped up my first attempt at making Biscotti but ran into a few snags.  Tex sez my dough didn't rise as I forgot to knead it

About the Grade 3 DP espresso...it's the closest thing I've roasted to last year's IMV yet, but this one seems to have more spice in it.  The shots do look nice, with a bit of mottle floating on top of em.  They came out of the spouts nice and syurpy

Stainless steel cups?  Sipping coffee out of anything but ceramics doesn't work for me.  Plastic, stainless steel, paper, styrofoam etc.  I also admit that I have never sipped directly from the portafilter like I suspect several members have <grins>.
