Here she is: Spuddy :)

That's pretty impressive. Do you use it in a shop or at home? Reminds me of my Aunt's '57 Buick - it was loaded with chrome too.

from the tapestry in the background I'd say it's in the bedroom :-X

Tex,
After glancing at HER profile, a small correction to your post was needed.

Does she require 220V?  You may need to double the number of hamsters running in those wheels!

Yeah, along with the plumber I've never gotten around to calling I'm going to need an electrician now. Mrs T said to get it done before Xmas or she's calling Goodwill!

Sadly, right now it's in storage until I get into a place of decent size. :(
Did you get a good deal on yours? Will you use it at home?

It remains to be seen if I'll use it at home. Mrs T hates the HX machine I now use, and wants the Belle Epoque because it's pretty. What can I say - she's German and their tastes seem to run to copper, brass or glass. If I do put the BE on the kitchen counter it'll be a battle to keep her from decorating it!

Hopefully the BE will make good coffee so we'll both be happy? If nothing else I'm sure I can sell it for at least as much as I paid for it. I got a great deal on it $1415 including S&H. milo's deal for his Elektra BE was better than mine(<$700). How'd you do on Spuddy?

Mine was only $600 including shipping.. and I have purchased about $80 in parts... so far, including one portafilter.

Tex,
This was a bathroom decoration in a coffee house in Alexandria, Mn. Note the plastic flowers in the. top of the machine

Odd looking urinal. Or is it a steam bidet?

NOOOOO! I can't let Mrs T see that, or there'll be frou-frou everywhere! :argue:

Yeah, but you still haven't paid the finders fee, so the total WILL go up.

I assumed the cats would stake out the cup warmer as their new home!   ;D

Now that you've mentioned it, the crazy one will probably take up residence inside the cup warmer. When Mrs T lights a fire she's camped within inches of the flames. I tell you, it's hard to concentrate on watching a movie with the smell of singed cat hair wafting about!

Use this shot to help sell the idea to Mrs. T.  The cat should look familiar!
