I am a bit of a cup freak. Peter discovered the 4.5 oz Tulip shaped Mocca (Inker cups from Croatia) from Orphan Espresso - foreground. I love them; use them for a wet macchiato. Santa brought me a second set of two. In the background is a couple of the 10.5 oz High Spot, same vendor. Santa brought me a set of 4 to use day-to-day. The cups are a ruby red -- not sure how it will come out on your set.
Love them: http://www.orphanespresso.com/Inker-Porcelain-Cups_c_329.html (http://www.orphanespresso.com/Inker-Porcelain-Cups_c_329.html) Great porcelain; excellent heat retention.

I will be going back to Croatia next summer.
I can rent a cargo plane on a way back.

I too have a fancy for cups; mine leans toward Illy. Here is my favorite cappuccino cup; that is, if I drank cappuccino?
-
There is a shop in Katonah NY that sells pottery from a women whose work we love. We commissioned a set of mugs like the one below for brewed coffee. Each is close but unique and holds about 16 oz.
For espresso and cappuccino's we too like Illy. They look great and hold heat very well. We have a couple of sets for espresso and this beautiful 5 oz. Chia set.

I also have a set of old Fransiscan Atomic cups that work well if you're doing frou-frou (not that we permit that around here!).

The Inker cups are great, I have a small set for everyday
-
But my niece likes the illy, and has been known to extort cups from friends who get a little too dependent on custom roasts. Especially if they like garage sales...
-
And this niece, is she teaching you how to pour frou-frou too?

"The pure white plump body personalized coffee mug is very stylish. A ceramic coffee mug is nice to be used at home to treat a guest. The plump body makes the insulated coffee mug very cute and nice to drink tea and milk. Plump body personalized coffee mug is nice to show your personality. Cheap mug is affordable for you to enjoy coffee."

Not the ultimate cups..
I like the big Illy but needs to be twice that size for me for a vacpot or latte brew :)

These are perfect for my morning lattes.
Made locally and not expensive.
I add one to my collection every time I see a new color.
There are a few in the dishwasher even as I took this picture.
-
There is not enough room on this board or enough time for me to take pictures of all of the cups and mugs I/we have. I love mugs and the collection is endless, even if it's once a year.

So please start. One a week. Show us composition.

A bit of a lip, nice heft, and a handle big enough for a couple of fingers. :)
-
I don't have too many but much prefer the Inker Tina, also from OE, over the various Illy, IPA and ACF.
Susan, dig those cups.
-
As you can see, they also make cups for the anti-frou frou crowd....:-)))
