Beware of the cheap burr ... they are not worth the money you spend on them.

I wouldn't go any cheaper than something like this:

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11378793&search=burr%20grinders&Mo=0&cm_re=1_en-_-Top_Left_Nav-_-Top_search&lang=en-US&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&Sp=S&N=5000043&whse=BC&Dx=mode+matchallpartial&Ntk=Text_Search&Dr=P_CatalogName:BC&Ne=4000000&D=burr%20grinders&Ntt=burr%20grinders&No=0&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Nty=1&topnav=&s=1

If you have a problem and buy from there they will stand behind their product and give you a new one or refund your money. :)

How many?
How many are available?
My wife sells real estate,as closing gifts she gives fresh roasted coffee.I suggested that she give the whole package ie coffee, grinder and mugs. She liked the idea.I dont really want to spend a hundred bucks on a grinder for this.I just want to get 'em hooked on the fresh roasted, ground ect.

Well in that case John ... you may want to look here:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8467292

You order online and it is shipped to your local store for free.

How can you go wrong for $14.98?

The local ACE hardware sells that same model for $11.98 each.  They never seem to have more than two of them, though.  They were $9.98 until about a year ago, and I always buy them out.

The local Sears used to sell a no-name blade grinder for $9.99, but they haven't had any the last couple times I looked, which has been at least a year.

I try to keep half a dozen grinders on hand for gifts and new customers.

If you know any military/vets... ;)

freshcoffee,

I'll sell you all my blade and burr grinders.
$6 each blade/$12 each burr grinder. All brand new.
Don't know how many total but I would guess 15/3 or so.

Believe it or not Home Depot has them from time to time.  I looked the other day and they had two left, one of the boxes was torn.  I asked the manager if they had any more and he said, no sorry, we generally only get 'small appliances'... they were in the appliance section, around christmas, and these are leftovers, then told me he'd be happy to sell them to me for $4.00 each.  I bought both of them.   I also use these grinders for my spice mixes, and grinding up peppers.   WARNING:  I do not care how well you *think* you cleaned it out, grinding coffee in a grinder you used for Habenero's is a very rude awakening in the morning.  :o
