It is, and even more so after someone mods it with an OPV (~$30), Silvia Steam wand (~$25), and a PID to manage brew & steam temps (~$100). It's a lot of fun taking a $50 discard and turning it into a machine that'll compete with machines costing thousands more. 8)

I look at these machines as a kid does a Christmas tree; full of promise!

And just as it is, this machine will make a decent shot of espresso.
