That looked rather interesting.  I am sure you will pursue that dirt with vigor.

Looks like something Uncle Ruf would've had stashed up in the mountains of Kentucky. ::)

No cooling though... that's not good... seems he dumped the hot bean into a closed container.... they would continue to roast.

Wasn't that just a temporary transport mechanism to dump into the pot?

Odd way to cool..... Looks like it was just poured into a ceramic cup.

Yeah ... that was odd.

How did you manage to get that still out of the video?

Too odd for a prefab.  :-\

I ask nicely!! ;D ;D

I paused it and then clipped it using software called snag-it.  You could also pause it, press print screen and then copy that "cntl V" once you open Microsoft Paint... then edit it... but that method is too much work... Snag it is very cool software.

Yeah, I don't understand why they just don't kill the fire and let the fan cool it.  That part works very well on the Sonofresco.

It would be 100X's better to open the chute and let the beans fall into some sort of cooling....any sort of cooling mechanism than carrying them around in a motorcycle gas can and dumping them into a condensed hot mass.

Too much thought went into the thing up to that point...it must not be done yet.

And the new version is even bomb-ier than before! I use it constantly at work to document stuff for clients and for keeping track of details. Mi gusta!

Projects like that one make me feel sort of "why bother" about my BBQ drum roaster project.   :-\
