As a matter of fact, I did take a couple of naps over the weekend! Gotta keep track of my caffeine consumption now!!
When I first started roasting, my caffeine consumption soared. I quickly discovered that mixing in good decaf (10-25%, depending on bean) still made for a great cup, but I could drink more. It doesn't work that great for some naturals, but for most beans (including some naturals) it turns out just fine. One good thing, expresso extracts less caffeine from the beans, so if you measure caffeine by weight of bean used, espresso makes sense. Of course, if you measure caffeine by ounces of coffee consumed, well, not so much!
