J/K But I'm cool with someone taking my spot for free. The more people testing out the grinder and providing feed back the better, but this was my first road show. I'm not sure how past practices are on these things. I'm guessing there have not been this many bale outs though!

Nah...  the reason I didn't play was because I knew the Lido2 would be the bomb, and am planning on putting the $20 toward the purchase of one.

Used the LIDO 2 for the Ibrik (Turkish pot) this morning. 

2:30 minutes to grind 30 grams to a fine talcum powder consistency.  Took a picture and it's posted on the cupping notes (linked below).  Note the pinched ridge and the grounds adhering to one another in a mound, as it should be with Turkish grind.  Took some time and expected effort.  I have sufficient hand/arm strength that I didn't have starts and stops with the full city Yemen Red Cherry.  I did take a couple of rests in the middle.


Fully capable of a Turkish grind.  Time consuming.  I locked up the locking ring and will work on it with a rubber mallet.  Failing that, I will grab some jar openers this weekend.
