Maybe we need new classifications?

Winner: Plays well enough to deserve a win.
Loser: Doesn't play well enough to deserve a win.
Eker: Plays well enough not to lose.

So in the Pepsi Challenge; Coke may lose, but Pepsi just eked out the win.

Or, to bring it closer to home for some; Ohio State may eke out a win over Michigan, but neither team would ever be considered a winner.

Or, when Bama & LSU play; one team may outscore the other, but both teams are really winners.
