Well, I finally finished my backsplash in the kitchen and feel that I can post pictures without shame:)

I had to do without espresso for a month while I worked on the kitchen in my spare time. I am working and going back to school so my time was limited.

SYP, is that the plumbed version?

I really like that machine, and it is towards the top of my list on upgrades when the time comes.

It is the mini (pourover), I needed some flexibility because it was questionable if I was even allowed to have it on the counter.

I love the looks and the temp stability. It has the pre-infusion chamber installed and I picked up the timer used but it may not have been necessary.

Very nice setup! It may cause a lot of folks to envy you, but that's a good thing. ;D

Yup, been there and it has been a good resource.

The grinder pictured has been sold and I will be trying out a Pharos next!

Fiorenzata Bricoletta

I have been pretty happy with it..
Some times I with it was a double boiler but I look at prices and I'm happy again :)

That machine is fairly expensive ... is it not?

I just looked it up ... $1700.00 at First Line.

I got it for $1,200 when 1st Line bought out the importer, it is the older model with old style steam wands..
There is a good write up at HB

Any Folks with a E-61 Group Head ?

I made a few adapters to get the temp of the water just before it leaves the group head..
You just remove the screw in front and screw this in..It uses a Taylor Meat Temp. cut and the extra wire is fished into the head..

If I get a more than three folks that want the brass and plastic I run a batch off..
I'd be asking $10 +S&H

Very clever - much tidier than the compression fittings I've seen used with other thermometers. Much cheaper too!
