I just ordered this puppy from Home Depot. It has no top, so I'll put a flat marble or soapstone top on it, and this will be in my coffee nook. Look into their bathroom vanities if you need a free-standing counter.

edited: The big box just arrived. I think this is going to look good under my coffee gear! Now I need to hook the filtration system up to the FloJet and look for some water bottles

It's getting there - all I need is to finish reassembling my rebuilt Bunn ES-1A, then I can turn it over to Mrs T to decorate.

Ain'tcha gonna cut a hole in there to mount a knock box?  >:D

Seriously, that's quite a nice coffee cubby you've got there, Tex.

Just have to clear the junk off and move the hardware there. At my normal pace I should have pictures by Thanksgiving! ;D

Right now the rebuilt one is in the kitchen with my other one. The countertop in my coffee nook somehow became temporary storage for my tools and test equipment, so I have to put everything away before I set it up as a coffee nook.

Me a procrastinator? How can anyone say that about me? Oops, I'm at the computer when I'm supposed to be cleaning the grinder today!

I'd rather be in front of the computer than clean a grinder any day.

Some of you have seen my machine and grinder in their old location.  After my home invasion and subsequent kitchen remodel (a third of which was on the insurance company's dime, hehehe) I wanted to show off their new location.  There used to be a closet in the kitchen that was replaced with an espresso nook; I built an upper and a lower cabinet, and continued the kitchen's granite for the nook.  When Jeff has time to shoot the rest of the kitchen, I'd like to show that off too.  I'm still amazed overall and often feel like I'm stepping into someone else' kitchen.  The Lord has done great things for us, whereof we are glad. No meubles for the press pot, Sir Lawrence.  It too stays out for quick accessibility.

Meuble!  They are out to get you Jeffo.
