has any one have any expierence with biodegradable bags, or contact info on where to buy / I give a lot of coffee away to friend and don't always get the bag back

I work mine differently. Friends return the bag with their name on a sticky. I then use that bag (from Bro' Harry's distros) only for them. Then, I know when they need a refill and we keep the bag in circulation. Most are very good about it (especially since they don't get coffee till the bag finds it way home).
When I am not supplying coffee continuously, I use kraft bags from these folks:

Good service.

A local bakery composts almost everything. They are using compostable plastic containers. That combined with this question sent me searching. Looks like the source of the polymers is here: http://www.natureworksllc.com/
I can't find anyone making a zip-lock + one-way valve stand-up bag from this stuff yet. That's what I'd like to find. The bag would be simple from what I understand. It's a standard machine taking sheet stock. The valve would probably be another matter.
