The spring new versions and new stuff thread
« on: April 20, 2014, 12:00:47 PM »
With the SCAA coming up this week, I fear we will be tormented with new versions of our favorite coffee toys popping up everywhere.   I believe the key to surviving upgrade season is having strong discipline,  prioritization skills, good research, and a support thread for when you fail.

For example, I don't know how many of you use those really, really, nice Espro Toroid steaming pitchers, but .... new version!  Bigger handle, better pouring spout.  Frou-frou on a stick.

What else is new, or upgraded?  Who is our scout for all the SCAA announcements this year?

I have an Espro Toroid, old version, I already don't use. I think I can resist the new. I hope we see some innovations. I am tired of seeing yet another pour-over devise that does the same thing as all the rest.  I can resist the new versions of old concepts. It is the new stuff that always gets me to shell out the cash.

I can surely resist temptations on a new grinder. Those things are overly marked up it kills me! I'm really liking the products from OE and I'm sure they will get plenty of attention at scaa.

Saw Gary Busey doing a promo- for Amazon Fire and that is what brought it to mind.
