millstone coffee grinder????
« on: May 06, 2014, 08:31:37 AM »
How bad/good are the old millstone coffee grinders?
I can get this one for $200 the owner claims it has very little usage.

Thanks,

Pat

I agree with Larry. Looks like a Bunn. I have one and I think it's a great grinder. I paid $150 for mine. At $200 it's still a great deal.

I tried to snag a Bunn G3 off Craigslist last night.  Looked just like it. Bet Brother Green snagged it...

I paid $300 for mine.  I think the burrs for them are over $200, so if it's working correctly, buy it.

It is a Grindmaster 875 with the Millstone name on it. I called grain master to verify. Parts seem to be  easy to find.

Does it use burrs or rollers? I know someone who had a Grindmaster that used some sort of roller mechanism to grind. As you might expect, the results were lass than acceptable.

I have a grindmaster also... it uses the same burrs as the bunn.... in fact looks like a bunn.

Bunn left, grindmaster right
