My small hand grinder collection
« on: March 17, 2016, 01:00:08 PM »
I think I may have all I need for now. The Lehnartz and Dienes will grind fine enough for espresso. I have not tried the KyM yet. The German grinders perform much better than the Japanese. At least for me.

My ancient Pe De Dienes doesn't look as nice as yours, but it is still serviceable.  It is from my wife's grandparents in England.  It probably didn't get much use ... well, until recently. ;D

Nice collection Ray.

Good collection there. I also really like the La Pavoni!

Thanks, everybody. I had fun restoring the German grinders and they are easy to work on. It is amazing to me that they still work very well. The Lehnartz ground fine enough to choke both of my espresso machines. They are hard to beat for the price.

I love these old hand grinders and you got a great collection together, Ray. :)
