Doesn't work -- the woman is immutably fair.  I have tried every bribe known to humankind.  We still have one gent that needs to pay and then we can do the drum roll for the number.

I just called Patti at the library. She said all bribes would be considered and she can be bought! "UMMMMMM?"

Dave has the number.... keep those drummers drumming, I'm sure he'll let you know once all bribes are considered.  ;)

I'm new around here, so I don't really know everyone, but if "library" is a hint then how about if I were to throw in some rare books? ;)

Congrats JBViau. Don't worry about the alignment after you clean out all the pepper and wheat flour you should be good to go. ;D

Dave are you sure you had your glass on when you read the winning number ?

...

I have a feeling that this is going to be a winner and will make it onto my wish list at some point.

I have the same sense.  The QC that Doug/Barb are running (and the honest shakeout they will provide) bode well.  While I didn't care for the Phoros, the quality of the materials was clear.  I think it will be a fine piece.  Getting my hands will help with a decision.

Hope so! When I first heard about this grinder, I was on the verge of buying either an OE-PFP or a vintage Peugeot to take care of my coarse grinding whenever I wasn't inclined or able to use the Preciso. The Lido seems more solid than the first two I mentioned for sure and might compare favorably to the last as well (remains to be seen).

Hey Larry,

When Patti got home last night from work I told her why, and who, won the grinder due to HER picking the number. I also shared with her that you were in the mix and didn't win. She said, "OH NO! He may not take us on a tour of Seattle when we're there in April." I said, "And it's all your fault!"  ;D

Not to worry.  The tour isn't contingent on me winning anything.
