I jumped the gun and bought a TV KBT-741 from Costco, so I'll skip evaluating the BraZen.

I thought you already had a TV that you bought here at the club?

I do, but I wanted a thermal carafe model.

This Brazen will never get to see Texas I have decided to opt out of my turn also. I have sent jbviau a message letting him know to send it to the next person in line when he is ready.

Hey, isn't there something not quite kosher about signing up for an option to win the thing on the road show and then opting out of doing your part of reviewing it?

I'm wondering if the drawings should be made after the roadshow in future?

Not if you get someone to take your spot & report their findings. Now go back outside and play in your pile of dirt.

Speaking of people's spots, the Brazen will be going out to milowebailey on Friday, or possibly even tomorrow if I can swing it. For some bizarre reason, my road show Yama vac pot arrived the day before this machine did, so it's been like America's Test Kitchen around here for coffee lately--a crazy, fun, non-paper-filtered brewing extravaganza. I'll post my final thoughts on the Brazen once it's all packed up.

That's why Tex is giving his turns to Milo. Takes a lot of kissing up when you swipe a mans Sono  ;D
