Amazon has been doing this for years. Sometimes certain deals only last a few hours before going back up. I like using this site (http://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B000GXZ2GS) to track Amazon prices. It will even notify you when a certain item you need reaches a certain price that you specify. Neat tool. As you can see the Aeropress is a roller coaster item when it comes to price.
