How is the Salvatore E61 ?
I remember looking at them I think..
They are made in the USA right?
I was considering them but thought it was still kind of a new company..
~~~Salvatore builds his machines in California...Solvang IIRC. I bought one of his entry level machines a few years ago and loved it...an HX he hand made...58mm commercial thermo siphon group, vibe pump. the build quality was outstanding. hard times forced a sale and when I became flush I bought another HX from a different manufacturer (very happy w/my Quick Mill Vetrano) yet if anyone asks for opinions on Salvatore espresso machines, I will give the one I used two very enthusiastic thumbs up
In regards to Salvatore being a new company...that he is not. I think he is in his 70's and has worked with espresso machines most of his life. He is an accomplished machinist making many of the parts for his machines himself, then assembling them entirely by hand himself. If you do a search for his company you can read a bio on Salvatore at his website
