Title: Fair Price for Vario?
Post by: century on June 04, 2012, 01:37:58 PM
Hey Guys/Gals,

Whats a fair price for a 2 year old Baratza Vario?
Good working order, some aesthetic wear on base.

Might be upgrading to the Pro M and trying to figure out the difference.

Best

Is asking $275 too much?

Seems reasonable to me. I was tempted but then I would have to explain why I only kept my precisio for 3 months.

I still have a bulk grinder in the garage that needs a full cleaning and a custom case.

Why did you only keep your preciso for 3 months? (or were you hoping nobody would ask...)

Well, I opted to get the Pro M Espresso model not the All Around.
Man what a great grinder. The speed, fineness and consistency is amazing.
Well worth the bucks.

Decided to keep the Vario to do my pourovers. Figured Ill fit right in with having multiple grinders now !  ;D
