Title: Argh. Will be hacking my thermocouple reader.

For those of us doing manual roasts, readings are often periodic -- not constant. Saving batteries and brooking no inconvenience, I'll be adding a momentary switch to the darned digital reader in lieu of the power switch it has.

Darned simple matter -- but since I'd guess a LOT of thermal readings are spot (occasional, not continual), I wonder why no manufacturer has just done this already.
