You can find a few of those at Visions Espresso

Rumor has it that one of the items in the upcoming Auction for Coffee Kids will be a gift certificate from Visions...

I'd love to have the cold brewer in the top picture simply for the cool factor.

Yeah, but you'd have a hard time finding a spot for it. Just how tall are those things? ???

I've seen one at visions.. 3 1/2 - 4 feet tall but the cool factor is there.

All of the glass brewers are missing the need to insulate the glass against heat loss.
For that I think Bodum still has the market cornered.

I need to find a local source for inexpensive laboratory glass. It would be pretty easy to build a DIY version of that cold brewer if one had access to the proper parts. I also still want to build one of the Florence Siphon Arabica Brewing & Extraction Apparatus (http://www.greencoffeebuyingclub.com/index.php?topic=5775.0)

The Yama glass cold brewer is 28" high and 11" x 8.5" at the base.

It would look seriously cool with my hand grinder collection.

My wife is intrigued.

Anyone ever use a sock brewer? It looks kinda cool.

Joel (dcmusichound) uses sock brewing in a custom stand as his main by the cup method at his shop.

Your wife is ... intrigued.  I bet dollars to donuts that isn't just quite how she said it.  I would let my life insurance lapse and make sure she knows it before you buy that May pole.

I am fascinated with the spout on that brewer. I had been wanting one of the Hario drip pots (http://shop.hariousa.com/product.sc?productId=26&categoryId=6) but the Yama now has my attention.
