here is a roaster on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/OZTURK-2-Kilo-5lb-Coffee-Roaster_W0QQitemZ320301418749QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320301418749&_trkparms=39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A10|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

So.....this roaster does not get to your doorsteps until after 8-12 weeks right?

I don't think that is all that unusual. I think they only build roasters for which they have orders. I am getting 60+ days from most places in the US.

Wow...........that's a long lead time. I guess it's worth it for a new roaster.

Have you considered a used one?

I have been looking pretty hard for a used one. The smaller units seem to get snapped up (presumably by guys with ambitions of going pro) . Larger ones in the 5-15 range tend to be the best deals, but are kind of, well, big.

I hope to look at some this weekend.

The above roaster was made by Akanaks in Turkey. I have no knowledge of this roaster.

I did buy Mike's 1K roaster. I am having it converted to 220V and installing an outlet in the garage Friday the 17th.

Until then, I will be developing some profiles to try.

Right now I will be working in the Garage with open windows/doors.

I have to get myself up to snuff for the next roast off.

Enjoy the roaster, Dave.  Do you have a name for it?  Esmeralda, perhaps? ;)

Now I need to recommission my SC/TO

I received info regarding the Neoroast.

It looks as if it is a programmable air roaster. I am supposed to be getting a quote soon.

I believe that Woody and I saw that one and they were talking $16,000. It has a catalytic converter and you couldn't smell it roasting.  Didn't require venting.  I will come to your place for the first cupping.

I think I remember that little guy - I just checked my pix and I didn't get a shot of it.  It is an attractive setup.

Not any more. My quote was= $24,326.04
