OK, I see what you mean. And the seller hasn't asked me to promote his offer, I'm doing it simply because it's such a good price. His advertised price is $720, but if you mention you heard about the deal from me, it's possible you can get it for less. BTW: I make nada, zilch, nothing from doing this.

Great conversation here, Yes I would love to have/build a quality 1/1.5 lb roaster that is adjustable and saves profiles, that would be great, who has the time  ;D .    With that in mind what is your options between the Hot Top B and P models.

The b model gives you total control and in opinion is the best option. I have one with about 1300 roasts on it and it is a work horse. No regrets.

Michael at HOTTOPusa has been a charm to work with.  If you talk with him tell him you are with GCBC and I think there is a discount.  Also ask him about reconditioned machines.   there is a price break on those machines if he has any.  I agree with CF that the service from HOTTOP is great and the machine is a work horse.

(had mine for over 4 years and it is still going strong in Benbrook, Texas)

ps I roast 3 times a week at least so you do the math on the amount of roast. :o

Ok Nucer ... you've done about 600 roasts on the HotTop in four years.
