Title: The New Handground Grinder
Post by: parkerto on January 29, 2015, 11:45:07 AM

A new grinder named handground is about to go to kickstarter as a campaign to raise money to produce their grinder.

I have been working with them through a crowdfunding campaign as they develop the product to launch into the market; the handground people are passionate about coffee and are very sharp. I think this product could become one of the top grinders in the portable grinder arena; the company is collaborative with its future customer base because as they listen they want to bring a product to market people can truly get excited about and benefit from.  I expect the quality of the grinder to be truly top notch!

The kickstarter launches in the next couple weeks.  Check them out and post here if anyone else has connected with the Handground team!

I wanted to get the baratza preciso. Although oe pharos is great, my experience leads me to want a more full range grinder. Pharos it is better at the fine end for espresso and turkish due to the titan burr set. My espresso machine broke and without the ability to upgrade i needed a better grinder for my pour over bar...preciso is highly rated as you go course (and can handle the full spectrum with the finest of adjustments) and it has treated me well.

cool.  Let me know what you think after you get it.  I am not buying one during the kickstarter because I can't afford to buy right now (a soccer coach has a budget:)  and my Porlex does fine as a travel companion.
