Blue Light Special! Cuisinart EasyPop (StirCrazy alternative?)
« on: November 16, 2010, 01:06:45 PM »
Newegg.com is having a one day sale on Cuisinart EasyPop popcorn poppers. $20. Might be a good alternative to the StirCrazy if someone wants to try one out.

I looked at these before and I think they are smaller diameter than the stircrazy... I don't know if a UFO will fit over it very well.

I think you mean a CO might not cover??? The box they ship in is 15" (tall) x 12" x 12". My UFO is 14" at the widest point (11" where the spacer fits) and the CO has ~ 1 1/2" overhang, so it's on the smallish side .  For $20 with free shipping it might be worth the risk.

I have a Cuisinart Easypop that I use for popcorn, its junk.   Read a few reviews on Amazon, its as bad as they say.  I believe the bowl is too shallow for much coffee roasting.
