Gene Cafe Service

The Gene Café that I bought in June, 2012 quit rotating today.  When I tried to call the number for the distributer for service I got a recorded message that that number has been disconnected.  I tried the 888 number and I got a come-on recording for a fabulous cruise I had won if I only paid the port fees.  Does anyone have any information on what happened and what I can do to get service?

what numbers did you use? What is the name of the company you called?

I called Fresh Beans Inc.  Their numbers were: 888-757-2326 and 435-940-1616.  The regular number was disconnected.  Those were the numbers given on the back of my owners manual (Rev. 2).

Thanks.  I'll call tomorrow.  Sure hope it is simple.  I have tossed the original cartons to ship back in.

I called the number BoldJava gave me.  When I called, Jim told me to restart the machine and tell him error codes and if it rotates with no roasting chamber installed.  I had already put it away and ordered some preroasted beans.  A couple days later I dragged it out of the kitchen cabinet and plugged it in to check.  Imagine my surprise when it started rotating when I turned it on.  I set it up and did a roast of some Kenya beans.  Uneventful, so I called Jim back and told him it must have been operator error.  Sorry for the false alarm.
