Passing it on to the next generation
« on: July 08, 2013, 08:59:20 AM »
My oldest son has had an interest in all things coffee for several years.  I had turned him on to the Yama a few years ago, and often bring him some of my roasts.

Until recently he was managing a shop in Lincoln, NE with the hope that one day he would be able to have his own place.  My wife and I drove out to Lincoln for the 4th, and took along my Behmor that has been sitting pretty much idle for over a year now ... since I got the Sono.

I did a dis-assembly and clean, got it all spiffed up, and handed it down to my son along with a few pounds of greens (Panama Boquete and Costa Rica Café Vida.)  Pretty exciting, and I can't wait to exchange a few stories, and try out some of his roasts.

One proud papa.

Oops.  I meant to mention that.  Told him there was a good resource here for info as well as beans.
