Hot Top or knock off?

This has Thailand as country of origin. Isn't the Hot Top a Taiwanese product?

The Hottop I have is manufactured in Tiawan

although the manual does say subject to change without notice.....

Something tells me if you can buy from them directly it would cost you a lot less than the cost of the Hottop.

300 grams = 2/3 lbs
