My Presto Scandinavian quit working a couple of days ago so I decided to see if I could do something with my Melitta Clarity with the broken carafe. I purchased a One-All model #GL312 at Target yesterday and used the flatter/shorter top (it comes with both). The height is approximately right but it wobbles on the base of the Clarity due to the design. I placed a ceramic coaster (about 1/4 inch thick) on the bottom heater. It is not a perfect fit but is definitely usable. Had to remove the cork from the coaster to prevent burning and ran a couple of test pots of plain water through it last night and this morning had some coffee from my Clarity. Still tastes as good as ever but I think the Scandinavian is just as good or at least a close second. Please contact me if you have any questions or better suggestions.
