Title: Replacement drum for Gene
Post by: Ron_L on December 17, 2011, 01:47:27 PM
I wanted to do a quick batch of espresso blend this afternoon so I could play with my new machine, so I broke out the Gene.  I ran a warm up cycle and as I went to pull out the drum to load the coffee I dropped it and it landed at just the right angle in just the wrong place and the drum broke  :'(  Does anyone know where to order a replacement?  I looked around online but didn't see anything.

Thanks!  I wonder why that didn't show up in a Google search?  The price isn't bad, either. I was expecting it to be higher.  I don't use it much, but when I only need a small batch it's easier than the RK drum.

Before I order, does anyone have a Gene that is dead but has a good drum that they want to get rid of?  :D
