Nice new sample/small batch roaster from Ambex.  I think I'm going to call for a price...maybe they'll give a group rate on these to help get them out.  I know Peter would take one  ;D

I would take one just to stay ahead of B|Java and have more coffee toys than him.

What if B Java buys one too??  Maybe buy two of them to replace both of your SCTOs.  Or maybe one roaster and a really nice coffee cup.

I am going to guess $4625.

Anything less than $4200 and you guys should each buy 3 of them.

I had prices on that and the USRC 3K last year.
Don't need more fuel to add to my roasting fire.  There's a YM-2 on ebay now for less than that new 1 pounder.

I see nothing, I seeeee nothing!

I think Shep has one of these; digirosto (http://cgi.ebay.com/Imex-Brightway-Digirosto-Pro-1500-Coffee-Roaster_W0QQitemZ280309356754QQcmdZViewItemQQptZBI_Hot_Beverage_Brewers?hash=item280309356754&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A4|294%3A50) and likes it.

Not a bad way to go if you like electric, programmable roaster

Water quenching freaks me out. It must violate some German purity law.

I'm pretty sure it is forbidden as an abomination in Leviticus or Deuteronomy, as well.
