A month or so ago I purchased some Bodum Assam espresso cups. I my own personal episode of "stupid human tricks", I thought the disk on the bottom was just there to affix the price tag. After I pealed it off, I realized it was the "international patent membrane". Thinking I could just get another one and hot glue one back on I contacted Bodum and asked if I could get one.
A few weeks later, I got a response to my email and they said they would send me a new one. It arrived yesterday in the mail. The 2 new membranes they sent were affixed to the bottoms of 3 oz Bodum Assam Espresso cups.
