Drip filter storage
« on: May 15, 2013, 03:33:25 PM »
If you've ever let a stack of filters sit out in the open, you'll know how humidity and other environmental factors can flatten 'em out, resulting in flaccid fluting. Consequently, the filter's basket profile may be sub-optimal. It becomes just a round sheet of paper, flopping around in frustrating fashion.

Oatmeal container to the rescue! Holds three stacks (in this case, commercial Bunn filters).

I use a ceramic cereal bowl to hold my working stack; it keeps 'em "tight" as well.

The story unfolds with surcease of the creases,
the sense of more cents filtOrigami increases

But flaccidly fluting prevention works best,
The story firms up if the filters impress!
