I actually just ordered one of these for work.  I like the larger size, its more 'my' cup size instead of those pansy little 6 ounce sips they call cups.  ;D

I think I will just pack up my large Bodum very well and bring that along.

LOL.

I am completely serious.

Laugh out loud or lots of luck?

The areopress seems like a good traveling brewer, it is cheap, easy to clean, seem fairly rugged and is not too picky about the grind.

Yesterday was a tough day, worked around the clock logging 182 miles between sites.  Besides the coffee I brewed at Carl's Jr, I also stopped in at Chromatic at 8:30 PM for a shot of espresso and picked up a bag of Honduras Tulio Portillo which has a sweet, juicy taste of cashews.  This I brewed up in the Impress at 04:00 as I was leaving again to troubleshoot a network problem.

+1 on the Impress: I've got the same kit as Yakster and it's worked well for me.
