has any one have any expierence with biodegradable bags, or contact info on where to buy / I give a lot of coffee away to friend and don't always get the bag back

I work mine differently.  Friends return the bag with their name on a sticky.  I then use that bag (from Bro' Harry's distros) only for them.  Then, I know when they need a refill and we keep the bag in circulation.  Most are very good about it (especially since they don't get coffee till the bag finds it way home).

When I am not supplying coffee continuously, I use kraft bags from these folks:

A local bakery composts almost everything.  They are using compostable plastic containers.  That combined with this question sent me searching.  Looks like the source of the polymers is here: http://www.natureworksllc.com/

I can't find anyone making a zip-lock + one-way valve stand-up bag from this stuff yet.  That's what I'd like to find.  The bag would be simple from what I understand.  It's a standard machine taking sheet stock.  The valve would probably be another matter.
