New manual espresso maker - any thoughts?
« on: March 16, 2010, 05:37:24 PM »
At this point, I may know a little bit about coffee, but I admit that I know absolutely nothing about what it takes to make a good espresso.

I came across this on a design blog, and was curious about how well it might work. I'm not planning to order one, just curious.

Not in my budget, but it is a) a lot prettier than an aeropress and b) looks like it doesn't use paper filters (which supposedly absorb some of the oils).

You obviously have not been introduced to "Rasqual's Inverted AP with Polyester Filter" method of brewing.  Pretty?  Probably not.  Effective?  You betcha!!
