Haven't seen these elsewhere: http://www.sweetmarias.com/sweetmarias/single-serve-brewer-filters.html (http://www.sweetmarias.com/sweetmarias/single-serve-brewer-filters.html)
Complex, little foldout paper filters for 1-cup of coffee, ready for your suitcase and your coffee. On the road application. (It appears that even Thompson has succumed to the allure of the ink.)

I make coffee on the road often under circumstances closer to camping than business travel. I don't think I'd buy these since they just wouldn't make my "kit" appreciably smaller.
I carry a small cooler in the back of my truck that holds:
*A kettle (A perc pot with the perc stuff removed)
*small blended fuel camping stove
*two bottles of fuel (I get about 15 large cups per bottle)
*Hario hand grinder
*plastic pour over cone
*filters
*coffee
The only thing these would take away is the filter cone which just isn't that big and if I run out of fuel or filters I can replace them 24 hours a day at walmart.
So where's the upside? Could you imagine trying to use one of these things outside on a windy day? Neat concept though.

Those are cool. Reminds me of the MiniMint single cup filters (http://www.amazon.com/RSVP-Mini-Minit-Coffee-Filter/dp/B000BU5K90). In the past I used these filters regularly at home and at work. I still use them almost exclusively when hiking.

I was thinking more of the Kalita Kantan Wrecking Ball sells.
